Indeed that's a good idea, and easy to code.

But it implies one regular contributor for each server (one and not more, so as to avoid duplicate entries).

By the way, the gameplay changes after each patch, so the probabilities of victory too.

If you are motivated to report the Macedon results, and send to me the screenshots of all possible formations, I'm ok to start coding this tool :)

Ok.Just tell me how u wanna results and where i can send u^^.I was thinking Screenshots with each formation and final table and each competition in a directory.(i have 16competition with all result and 1 incomplete).

Another vars to take care:
Version(internal var,cannot be set by user):About patch depend of the day of each competition assign one version or each other.

Time of Arena : 00:00,04:00,08:00,12:00,16:00,20:00.Here a conversor for time could be nice,becouse i have screenshot but im not sure how to convert to server time
Server :Default actual player server, but let it change, maybe player has one account in another server :)
Confirmed(internal var,cannot be set by user):If its going to be an open system,open to report of user,would be nice if we can authenticate results just for know that are good results and becouse we arent machines and we can make mistakes^^.Maybe to entries who has same Time Arena and same Day would set this var = true or checking screenshots...im no really sure about this but i think we need some method to authenticate results.

I was thinking about something different.

Indeed, what you're proposing is rather an "archive" about the results, but I don't think it would help a lot to make useful stats.
Indeed, the power of a competitor depends more on the whole formation than the hero. Example: Beatrice with 6 cannons wins more often than Beatrice with 6 archers, and not necessary against the same opponents.
By the way, the AI is the same whatever is the turn (first turn or final), so it isn't a useful information to record it. Same with the server or the hour.

That's why my idea was just to record the battle results. I mean:
Record 1: Raphael with Sword-Sword-etc formation Wins Jeanne with Sword-Viking-etc formation
Record 2: Hasard with Viking-blank-etc formation Wins Jeanne with Sword-Viking-etc formation

So at the end, it's possible to build a big table with probability of victory for each formation against any opponent.

That wouldn't kill the "magic" of the Arena (only some stats), but would give useful data for players who bet.

I think i didnt explain too much my idea and also confused u^^.
When i said that formation should be input in order i mean from match list.
Another think is input those formation (2sword,2nap,...)

Now I need about 3-4 minutes for each picture, and there are 50 possibilities, so it will require some time :p

Even if monsters & items are not over ; there is another checking that requires some help: Arena formations.

You can access a preview of the Arena Stats game tool by clicking on the link.
50 formations are available (10 characters, 5 formations by character) ; but they may be some errors, and I'd like to be sure all the formations are right before the final release of this tool.
For example, it seems that several formations described in the Playing at the arena have disapeared, or maybe they are (very?) rare.

I know there are Arena experts by there, I hope they'll be able to help us :)

It's summer (in North Hemisphere), the perfect season to look at gladiators to fight in the sand :)

Because the tool looks really hard to use and intimidating. I what i thought is that you could put in the chart that they use for the arena betting in the game. This:

Chose who played, then chose who won what, then from there you click the charaticers you from which you chose what formation they were. This would put in the who wins agaist who with what formation for you. I know this might take a lot of coding to make this happen. But you could this where at the start you put in who was playing and what formation they had. Then at the end you only need to take a screen shot of the who won when to enter in the last data.

PS. Muwing can you do something about the formating on here too when you put more than 2 space in a row they only show up as one

As you're the only guy who looked at this tool for ages (and it's because I asked for you to verify the arena formations :) I consider that working on it = waste of time.

i know this is an old and abandoned topic, but recently i found a brand new application of this idea under the name of arena analyzer, so, i try to revive this topic asking for a little help even if u are the maker of this tool. you can find it easily if you google it (i dont want to make advertising for any website) This application is "empty" and need to be filled with input data, the owner of this tool explain the reason for no input data but in the same time he offers all formations for all players in arena with the possibility to adding new formations, so, with a little help we can fill the missing data and have a database from where we can start it.
my request is the following: where can i find information about past arena results?
preferably including also formations not only who wins.
is any even a small database out there with this information?
