my actual formation

depends on what you want, pve or pvp?

JUst a few tips for any formation:

-Focus on 1 strategy, Aoe, Dps, stun, spike, etc etc.
If you are a Staff user and will probably go for AoE build, then use mercs wit AoE skills.

- 2 Spear is good, 1 Spear is useless.
Unless you want to get dual spears, get rid of that one and get a tanker instead.

Also, you could get rid of the Archer becouse she dont fit on your current team, you want to get a Beast Trainer for more AoE instead (Asuming you go AoE)

well just for now im concentrated only at pve.. coz im a casual player :P

either move your witch either to the center or center of back row to help break cannon attacks. its an ok aoe lockdown build though the inventor wont do much also put exo in the back to avoid silence

i want to know something about this staff "Ded Moroz's Staff" it say is 2 hand weapon,
so its mean i cant use orbs on my main ? i hope any1 knows about this =)

If it takes two hands, would make since you can't have something in your free hand.

i was asking coz in character simulator i can use that staff and orb too.. thats confuse me a litte :S, and i want to know for some1 who use that staff or maybe have it and can check =) thanks

Well, it's the only staff that says 2-handed so yeah, i suppose you can't have an orb then, like stormbringer users can't wear a shield.

this is quite the interesting topic, so I'm going to butt in. hope you people dont mind me butting in :P

Ded Moroz's Staff and Stormbringer are two-handed weapons AND are not that useful in PVP.

Frankly, I only love Stormbringer for its looks and coolness. Performance-wise, it is average at best. Sure, Ice Storm (forgot the real name, it is Stormbringer's skill which procs on chance) is fancy and neat for pve. But pvp, meh. Why? Because :

1. you cant equip a shield due to Stormbringer being two-handed. Know this : Shields REDUCE flame-affinity magic's damage done to you by HALF or so. which means your mercs with shields are more resistant towards Meteor Strike, Flame Blow, Flame Spear, Flame Sword and such. I'm certain about this, I have tested it. Credits to Banedon from Epic guild of Macedon server for the tests :P
2. the damage is lower than a Freezing Sword. Sword users are often used to attack due to their relatively nice ap regen and decent damage.

For Ded Moroz, the damage output of that thing is high. but for pvp, your staff main (note that Ded Moroz is for staff main only) will be busy casting skills, using stimulants, and such. I'm not in AO right now, but I'm sure the stats it gives is also meh-like =/ only the damage is superb.

I agree Lecaros, when everybody was talking about sealed dragon fangs and stormbringers, I checked out the stats and I was quite disappointed.

Storm for the same reason as you : no shield and no exceptional damage (but could work for an exo, couldn't it, since he doens't use a shield anyway ?).

SDF, the damage is awesome but, what I thought very disappointing was that it gave you no +skills bonus, which on high lvl swords, do help a lot with your magic skills.

So I decided to stick with "normal" equip, however skipping the freezing weapons in favor of the inds 90-94 gear. Same stats and much easier / cheaper to get.

As Lecaros stated, a main character using staff in PvP isn't gonna do much attacking.
A noble staff might be a better choice. Despite its crappy damage, the main will get a very nice bonus to his INT and hence his spell effects. AND you can even use an orb with it. +0 bonus is +200 INT. For PvE, it gets to a massive +800 INT for a +10 but in PvP, +10 is "only" +300 INT so you might as well use a +0, almost no need to redo that mute shaman quest.

hmm as far as I remember, stormbringer can only be used by Swordsman or LK (lady knight). Exo cant use Stormbringer coz he keeps using his other hand doing the macho pose while Guarding :P

Of course, I have never owned one either.

On the matter of SDF, it is of course very nice to have if you don't care much about the +skills, since you can still equip a shield with it.

One last thing : the storm bringer does have extra defense and magic defense to compensate for the loss of the shield, so it certainly ain't "bad", but you get more def and mdef with normal freezing sword and shield of the same lvl.
