[News] New Forums Ready
The new forums are ready, as well as a minimal release of the site itself (so as to support the special BBcodes [item]Item name[/item]).
People who wrote some guides (and motivated translators) are invited to register at the following url:
http://www.atlantica-db.com/forum
and publish their article(s) on the Game & Strategies forums.
I'll move them to the "Guides" section after validation, then translators will be able to translate them to non-English language forums.
I'll manage myself Guides whose authors aren't active anymore.
Please note that the old AOtags won't work here, so instead of [ ao:item]Item Name[/ao ] it will be [item]Item Name[/item]. They work differently as they transform the specific BBcodes ([item] and such) into [url] tags, whose addresses will remain valid (even if nDoors changes the translation/name - an annoying problem on AOP).
You can use tables for a better layout too, just look at the buttons.

As I already said to you, I'm available to translate guides or site elements from EN/US to FR.
The question is : should I wait guides on atlantica-db, or could I start translating the existing guides (here on AOP) to put them in the French section of AdB ? (AdB, sounds good ^^)
I still have a few details to fix regarding publications, and to write some explanations. It should be done tomorrow.
Basically, translators will be able to edit the Guides, so copy/paste easily the whole text WITH BBcodes.
After that, they can translate the text using Drafts (in their profile), then publish it when it's done in the Language forum.

Not easy to find equivalents for some word/expressions sometimes, I hope it will always be readable enough ^^ (I finally chosen to let most of the common terms of the game in English (sites, items, ...), in order to keep a logical link with the game)

Yes sure. I think people will adopt the new site when AOP won't be updated/completed. As all the useful informations are still here, they have no real reason to alternate.
