Next patch Storm blast becomes an 'actiavte upon attack' skill, like the Pirate's poison. Suggested to max Chainsaw Blade, Storm Blast, 1 Guard Dispel(Maniacs get it next patch w/ Storm Blast change), and pump the rest into the lvl 100 skill.

I have it on good info that all of his skills are getting stronger and Storm Blast and Destructive Instinct are becoming 'activate on attack' skills.

Wow.. if both are actually becoming on attack skills it might be best to dump chainsaw blade and max them both instead and only do normal attacks. We'll have to see what the stats are like.

I see your point, but you'll still have plenty of time between two chainsaw blades to attack normally, so there's no reason to pass a great AoE skill.

Well, it's pointless to speculate before seeing what the skills are. But personally since I'm (at least for now) going for a melee-oriented build based on beating the front line (and silencing back and freezing center/front), chainsaw blade is often not very worthwhile - both because of our large melee damage (further amped by melee vs melee bonus and sometimes, stun), and because the front is often HGed. So at least for my playstyle if the skills are powerful it could be very useful. Although it would lead to probably not having enough activations.

Damage and stats are the same or better from what I've seen.
