Well Witch Does AOE Damage So is Elementalist , Both Have Different Set Of Skills if Your build is AOE Type Both of em is a must have, but if not still would be a great addition Depends on ur style in the end how u use ur Mercs .

But does witch get iffy lvl 100+?

Although Witch is a Class C merc. doesnt mean it gets iffy at lvl 100+ range specially on pvp most people still use it to provide a good formation due to the fact that its Flying. Its Meteor Strike Still Hurts at 100+

Note: that witch got a good Magic Def and wont get hurt by physical dmge that much again due to the fact that it can fly

are squishy, and with the trend of ranged/snipe builds, it might not be too wise to keep your witch. She's a very important/helpful C-class merc, but low def and hp. And archers only get better...

What is the difference between freezing atmos and burning

The witch hits everything though with her aoe skills. The ele only hits melee mercs, so if you fight a ranged heavy team your screwed!

Elementalist is anti melee... She punishes heavy melee builds with her skills (which im not familiar with yet) T.T

I don't think B class mercs are upgrades of anything. They're like, S class mercs (in regular RPG-type settings)

I have elementalist, well just got it. You can't replace witch with elementalist because they both have 2 different purpose. Witch is overall aoe damage dealer and other skills. Where as Elementalist focuses ONLY on melee. So it all depends what you are dealing with or what you are facing. If most of the enemy mercs are melee then elementalist is good. However if they are mostly casters or ranger, then you are much better off with the Witch.

The key in this game is to either build an overall balanced build that allows all mercs to deal with all or most mercs, or to build formation based on what you are facing. In PvE it is easier to swap your mercs based on their skills against the enemy. However in PvP it is very tricky, now you could keep elementalist in your formation in PvP just to break down the front row wall of tanks (Beast Train, Warrior, Spearman, Lady Knight, Viking, Exorcist, Spartan). Once the front row is down and dead, it is then easier to deal with the back row. Elementalist can be deadly to those who are Axe or Sword main.

But then again, it all depends what kind of build you have and what you are facing.
