Is it so difficult to understand? Muwing does NOT want this kind of things on this forum. So can u please stop it or post it on the official Atlantica forums and see what happens there.

In a normal installation, you CAN'T run 2 clients. To use mechanisms that allow to ignore this limitation is against the rules.

hmm weird... multiple accounts usually means multipe funds / item mall purchases... simpler to explain in subscription based games. but anyway, if its not allowed, its not allowed.

there is no hacking involved in this, just using one computer to run more than one game. there's nothing bad in running one game on multiple computers is it?

i must admit that rule 'p' would indicate we are all breaking the roc
(since they tend to have inaccurate and incomplete patch notes so we use undocumented features :p)

Multiple accounts doesn't necessarily translate to more item mall purchasing. If you ever buy gcoins you will notice that you can gift items to other players (i.e. an alternate account). Not to mention, buying from the item mall isn't necessary for playing the game. It is absolutely possible to play to the higher levels without ever having to buy anything through the item mall. I managed to make it to level 98 before touching the item mall and, in reality, I didn't even need to do it then; I just wanted to contribute money to the game I invest so much of my time in.

Anyway, running multiple clients is a clear violation of the ToS and should not be done. Please do not encourage anyone to do so here, the admin obviously frowns upon it and so do most of the users.

People always find reasons to justify their behaviour.

Behind the law (and the ToS here), there is the "good sense" and the "moral conscience".

It's obvious that running different clients to make a simple test, or to make a party with his main character to get LDP bonus, is not the same.

As it's not the same between changing voice files to korean ones, or modify the files for cheating purposes.

As it's not the same between using "undocumented" but right/fair feature, or using a bug/exploit.

So when you (want to) run multiple clients, ask yourself this question: why am I doing this?

personaly i use it alot to store items
- got an alt for random storage, opening old box's (although that one is on seperate comp usualy)
- got an alt for books (opening modern book box's)
- got an alt for the shoes i craft (so i can sell them on market slowly)

Sacred flower, you know that there are only around 6 or 7 billion ppl in THE WORLD? There aren't even a million ppl playing AO. And lets say that maybe a 1/4 of these people have multi-accounts. That is maybe a hundred thousand accounts, even if that much. There is no way that there could be 1m+ people. This game hasn't even been around for 1 year. Ex: MapleStory is a game developed by Nexon. They've been around since 2003 (i think.) There are 3m accounts there. Using the same formula, lets say 1/4 of those guys have multiple accounts. That means that there are around 2.25m people playing MS. After 6 years. So, divide that number by 6 and you get around 400 thousand people. However, we must also assume that MS's growth rate was exponential, not linear. Therefore, the number of AO players couldn't number more than a hundred thousand or so people.
