Below are all the titles you can get (that I know of - I have no clue if there are hidden titles or some other way to get them).
The first four sets of titles are ones you can get from one of the women outside of Athens by doing quests - there are four of them. You can only do one quest from each woman at a time (for a total of four title quests going at once, one from each woman). When you finish a quest for them, you must go back and turn in the quest, at which point they will give you an item (it looks like an envelope). You have to right-click on and use the item and you will now be able to use that title.
The easiest way to get to these women if you're over level 20 but don't have the Athen's teleport information is to teleport to Rome using the button on the right of your screen that looks like an arch, then walk outside Rome and go to Athens. If you're under 20, you'll have to walk there. You can auto-walk to any of the four women by opening up the quest log and selecting them at the top of the log (Pandora, Kleio, Calliope, or Thalia) and then clicking on 'Auto-move to NPC'. Be careful - you may run into mobs so take care when auto-walking! They're located at approximately (you'll have to move around a little, especially for Pandora) X:2090 Y:1104.
The last set of titles are only available by getting more fame points through Free League. The top few ranks are limited by a certain number of people who can have that title. They give no buffs.
To choose your title, go to My Info -> Character
and choose your title from the drop down menu of titles. You can switch your titles at any time, and it does not cost anything to do so. You start each day with no title selected - this is due to the buffs, see below.
Most titles give some sort of buff for a certain period of time. To activate the buff, simply go to My Info -> Character
and choose your title as above. Your buff will instantly start for the specified period of time. You can only use the buff once per day, resetting at 6 AM PST. You cannot choose a title without activating the buff. However, if you've already used the buff for that day, you can still choose the title - it just won't give you the buff. When a buff is up, you will get a notice across your screen indicating this fact. You will still have that title selected and displayed until you change it. If you log out or dc while buffed, you will lose the buff. Buffs do not apply during Free League or Challenges. Free League titles do not have any buffs. It is impossible to stack title buffs, as to have the buff active, you must have your title displayed.
There are some additional notes at the end.
Format is Title name - Quest requirements - Information about the buff given. A monster's name and then a number to reach means you have to kill that number of monsters. If you'd prefer to sort by buff given or name of title, please look at My account -> My titles
in the upper right corner of the screen when you're logged in to AOP.

Notes :
When there's just an item with a number, it means you have to turn those items into the NPC and you will lose them. However, you can buy them from the market instead of getting them yourselves if you so desire.
You must be level 100 or higher to start the Deathproof title quest.
If you're doing the Demonologist title quest, do it early, before you hit 31, if you can. Scrolls are much cheaper at that level. Also, getting a bonus scroll in PVP does not count towards your quest number needed. If you can't find any other scrolls on the market, check out Mana Piercing scrolls. Each of them has a fixed price (Scroll of Mana Piercing <span style="font-style:italic"> - 500, Scroll of Mana Piercing [II] - 5,000, Scroll of Mana Piercing [III] - 30,000, and Scroll of Mana Piercing [IV] - 60,000). However, typically (depending on server and availability), Scroll of Dispel [III] are cheaper.
Persuading residents for the Linguistic Genius title means convincing the wandering residents to go to your town. You get a certain number of people for each of the wandering residents you convince - usually between 50 and 200 people. You cannot do this quest unless your guild owns a town.
When you have to do something that can fail (fishing for the Fishing Maniac title, gambling equipment boxes for the Gambler title), it only counts if you succeed. For the gambling of boxes, each box you get back (including multiple boxes at once) counts as one success. So if you get back three boxes after trading in 9, you get three successes on your quest.
You must be level 60 or higher to start the Gambler title quest.
Some of these may require you to re-do quests by using Secret of Time licenses - available on the market or by crafting licenses.
Chardin's Perfume is from the Discovering Great Perfume quest at level 52. It's needed to make the Secret Vial of Memory Loss and the Father's Holy Water, as well as for completing the Smelling Flowery title quest. To get more than one perfume, cancel the quest as soon as you receive the perfume, then speak with Chardin again. He will give you another perfume bottle. Cancel it again (and again, and again) until you have as many perfume bottles as you want. Get one more in order to continue the quest. Currently, to do all the title quests that require Chardin's perfume and to continue your quest, you would need a total of 8 bottles of perfume (Five for the Smelling Flowery title, one for the Forgotten title, one for the Blessed title, and one to finish the quest). If you have already completed this quest, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Discovering Great Perfume license and speaking with Hui Chao.
The Fish Stew is under quest crafting. It's used for the Navigator's Dream quest at level 73 and for the Dinosaur Master quest at level 88. It requires 50 Radish, 20 Onion, 20 Garlic, 20 Leek, and 10 Carp.
You must be level 50 or higher to start the Cursed Swordsman title quest.
The Secret Vial for Memory Loss is under quest crafting (it is [i]not the Secret Vial of Amnesia from the item mall). It requires 1 Secret Vial of Night, 100 Mandragora, and 1 Chardin's Perfume.
Secret Vial of Night is from the Exorcist Recruiting quest at level 57. Like the Chardin's perfume above, you can get seven of them at once (one to complete the quest, one to make the Secret Vial of Memory Loss, and five to make the Walpurgis' Spirits) by canceling the quest as soon as you get the Secret Vial of Night and then speaking with Citratus again and accepting the quest again. Do this multiple times. To complete all the current title quests, you need a total of seven of these vials. If you have already completed this quest, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Exorcist license and speaking with Hui Chao.
Father's Holy Water is under quest crafting and requires 1 Knight's Holy Water (from the Lady Knight Recruiting quest at level 95), 5 Lucky Wood Pieces, 1 Chardin's Perfume, and 1000 Yggdrasil's Fruit. Like the Chardin's perfume above, you can get two Knight's Holy Water at once (one to complete the quest line, one to make the Knight's Holy Water) by canceling the quest as soon as you get the Knight's Holy Water and then speaking with Janet again and accepting the quest once more. If you have already completed this quest, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Lady Knight license and speaking with Hui Chao.
You must be level 90 or higher to start the Blessed title quest.
The Strange Rock Shard is the final reward from the Curious Scientist quest at level 74. It's a box that you can also find on the market. If you have already completed this quest, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Curious Scientist license and speaking with Hui Chao.
Fausta's Hand Mirror is a reward from the Princess Fausta Quest at level 96. She gives you Fausta's Wedding Box at the end of the quest, and you can either choose the hand mirror (only useful for this title) or two Conqueror's Equipment Boxes from it. If you have already completed this quest, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Fausta license and speaking with Hui Chao.
Walpurgis' Spirits is under quest crafting and requires 10 Hearts of Darkness, 5 Secret Vials of Night, 100 Power of Night, 5 Lucky Wood Pieces, and 1 Crest of Niflheim.
Hearts of Darkness are under quest crafting and require 50 Growth Vial [Mid], 300 Dogwood Fruit, and 100 Ashen Crystals to make 10.
The Crest of Niflheim is from the Guardian Frigg Quest at level 93. She gives you this quest item to read, but it does not disappear when you use it. You do not have to do anything special to hold on to this quest item - simply do not destroy it. If you have already completed this quest, and didn't keep this item, you can reset it by buying or making a Secrets of Time: Guardian license and speaking with Hui Chao.
You must be level 100 or higher to start the Night Ruler title quest.

In order to get the Divine Punisher title from Thalia, you must have the Priest title from Calliope. It will appear in the options for quests from Thalia once you have the Priest title.
You get the Inuit Tribe's Signs from the level 98 quest from Chief Notoqchen, near Frozen Adlivun.
You get the Historia Seals from doing Solicitor and Dispatcher quests, which are reset daily. You must be level 96 or higher to start this title quest.
The Revelation: Noun items are quest items. They look like skill reset books, and are non-tradeable (of course, as they are quest items).
You need to have one of the quests and then go fight mobs inside the Constantinople palace. You will get an item for that quest occasionally (like other quest drop items). YOU MUST HAVE THE QUEST IN ORDER TO GET THE ITEM. However, it will limit the drops you get of *other* things - such as quest items. You can always cancel the title quest at any time if you're not getting enough quest items for your normal quest and the revelation items will be left in your inventory. Just remember to pick up the title quest again from Calliope. Also, only certain monsters drop certain Revelation:Noun items. There is currently no compilation of all the monsters that drop each type. Feel free to post if you have some information about who drops what.
The Hand of God quest is for enhancing an item to grade 10, not enchanting an item to grade 10. That means you need to speak to Vulcanus in Rome and use enhance stones, not enchant stones. (See a guide on enhancing and enchanting for more details about this). THIS MEANS DO NOT MAKE TWO +9 ITEMS AND THEN ENCHANT THEM TOGETHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
You must be level 50 or higher to start the Hand of God title quest.
Mercenary steel boxes for the Greedy quest are only given by the wandering mercenaries you have to spend a lot of money on to get them to join your party (monks and vikings, specifically) - more than the 20k most mercenaries require. Go up to them with at least 100% will and greet them. Then offer them money as a gift - the cheapest amount seems to be 20,000 two times for the viking (for a total of 40,000) and 20,000 three times to the monk (for a total of 60,000) while your party is full. Artillerymen do not give steel boxes.
Winning a battle with at least two mercenaries in the unavailable status for the Strategist title means going to the formation window and unchecking one of the boxes for two of your mercenaries so they are 'ghosted out' during the battle and you can't use them. It does not mean the mercenary has to be unconscious, and you do not have to have more than two unavailable.
You can only have one free league title at a time, and as your fame changes, so does which title you can choose - either up or down.

I'm actually working on the Mutant title as well (sorry! ^^;), the Demonologist title (I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GOING TO GET IT SOMEDAY!!), and I have a guildie working on the Kind title (she's up to 20+). What we really need is people to work on Pandora's titles - I refuse to give up my Demonologist quest (I'm almost at 40% done, and I've spent millions and millions on it! [If anyone's on Mycenae, I'll take any adv scroll donations you don't need anymore ;)]), but I know those are the worst/most boring. Oh, and I know someone with the Young Princess title, she's just never on when I am, so I'm trying to find out from her what the buff is for that one. And as soon as I get to the Constantinople quests I'll be working on the Priest title, but I'm not there yet, so it might be a while (still in Volcano Valley). But we are only missing 23 titles right now - pretty good, I think! The two that will take the longest will be the King of Darkness title and the Executive Chef title.

In order to earn credit for the Kind title, you need to answer help requests. That's when a little box pops up next to your map with a question mark in it. When a player below level 30 asks a question, a small number of people get that box. You need to answer their question and then get credit for it (something that requires them to confirm you were helpful) in order to get credit towards your title quest. It can take a long, long time to get 50 of them. I don't know of anyone that's done it yet.
help requests can be done at any level. all you have to do is look under the community heading.
i was knowing how works help request...but i had anwered one and ive not receved the the quest point so...they have to confirm...well ill try to do it... ill ask them to confirm when i help with help request...THX.
Do we know if title buffs can be stacked, or if some title can be stacked together and not others? Like Potion addict and Monster expert would stack because they don't have common buff?
If they don't stack, once I have 4-5 titles, then it's pretty useless getting more titles, unless I play many hours per day or the new title gives much more buff then the ones I already have.
title buffs do -not- stack with each other. however, its beneficial to get as many as possible. want to grind some exp? pop the exp % titles. want to farm? pop the def/attk % titles.
As title indicates... I havent done the title quests. So the question: I can only choose one from each women - so four title plus the pvp rank title, or I can redo her quests for whatever title I would like? So in theory I could hog all the titles. ( Yes I know it would take forever and makes no sense anyway, but lets say 8-10 is doable if we consider the easy ones as well )
I know most of them is hell of a tedious work, but if they can be redone then I would probably do total newbe ( for example ) title as it is like 5 minutes and I still made no harm to my later plans :)

quests can not be redone as they give you an item that when used, gives you the option of using the title buff. that being said, you cant get multiples of the same title.
Um I didnt meant the same title.... I know quests cannot be redone ( only the resetable ones ) that is why I asked If I get total newbie title do I lose the cance to get any other title from the girl who gives it.
But I got an answer iin the meantime by trial and error :) And the answer was no. I can get all the titles I want. So I get the easy ones then I will skim through this thread who does what, and choose an unknown one to contribute :)

Added info on new titles. Don't know much about Fausta's yet. Freakin' Walpurgis one needs more lucky wood pieces, AND secret vial of night - sigh, already did the exo quest and swore to never do it again. Guess I'll be eating my words as I buy that reset license. >.<

Thanks, Dizsen! Quick question - I assume it was part of Fausta's quest line, but I just want to make certain. Is it an item you're supposed to use? Did you cancel the quest to get a second one? Also, next time you activate it, would you double check to make sure it actually goes on for 60 minutes? They've put wrong info into the title item info before (Deathproof, specifically). Thank you!

Sea Palace Conqueror title is +3% Attack Power, +5% Physical Defense and +4% Workload, for 1 hour.
And you should really be more specific that the Revelations only drop in the shadow part of Constantinople...
Thanks for the info about the Sea Palace Conqueror! And I see the item title info was wrong again. They said it was xp, not workload it gave.
And Hexedian, I don't believe that's true. Slave Commander, for instance, drops both Death and Chastity, and it's not a shadow mob.
So different mobs drop different revelations? Has anyone conducted any kind of test to determine which drops what? This would be very important, I think.

Just wondering how to get the Title: Night Ruler?? Is Walpurgis' Spirits an item? or something to kill? Where do I find it?
Walpurgis' Spirits is a quest item. It includes lucky wood pieces, vial of night (from the exo quest) and the crest of niflhiem (sp?), from the guardian Frigg quest. As soon as I can get my program up and running again, I'll add more specific info.
Hmmmm, a tip for Demonologist, currently there's mana peircing scrolls on sale in the market fixed for 500[beg] 5000[int] 30000[adv] and 60000[pre], this is one of the few fixed scrolls ;P

It would seem that the devs have changed it so that a successful exchange that returns multiple boxes will now count each box towards the title.
Thus an exchange that returns 10 boxes will now add 10 towards the total needed for the title.
My friend told me that after he get the Bookworm title, his rate of getting Ancient Skill Book are increase (normally max up to 40, now he can get 50 easily), I don't know if is true or he just get lucky ^^
any effect of Gambler too?

this one is 12% atk 12% def and 10% xp for 30 minutes, if i remember correctly. i'll confirm tomorrow

I completed a title quest from Calliope. After that I throw the title envelop out and it disappeared.
In the quest log that title quest is completed, so I cant redo it. What should I do now to gain that title?
Er.... I think you might be screwed.... I'm not the title quest expert, that would be Kiena, but normally I'd say get a license and redo the quest. Since there is no license to redo title quests, I don't think there is anything you can do... maybe you can create an alt, do the quest, then mail the envelope to yourself? You probably can't, but it might be worth asking Kiena about. Kiena, what do you think?
Anra is completely right - it's impossible to redo a quest. And the envelopes are untradeable, so you can't do it on an alt and then mail it to yourself. The only thing you can do it put in a ticket with the support and wait for the GMs to get back to you. They'll probably give you another envelope, but it might take a while.

Well, not a really mistake, but you can give 20000 x 2 for viking for get the box too, you mentioned 10000 x 4 (that is not a problem either both total 40000 ^^)
For some reason the Hand of God title isnt available to pickup for me anymore, i dunno why anyone else noticed that?
I can't seem to pick up the Collectomaniac quest, any idea what the requirements are?
I think they must have removed it, cause it ain't there anymore. I remember seeing it right after the patch because i didn't recognize it. Then I found out what the buff was and started getting the Historia Seals together. Just went back to start it and it wasn't there. I checked the other title NPCs except Pandora (Santa Claus atm), so unless they moved it to Pandora, they got rid of it. I guess it is possible there is some crazy thing you have to do to make it show up, but if that is the case I managed to undo it.
Anyone need any Historia Seals?
Hmm... In the patch notes for April I've managed to dig up an old reference.

Could that be in reference to Collectomaniac?
If so then why has it suddenly become unavailable to those below that level? Afraid I can't check at the moment, started to kill Evil Arachne's already.
What I don't understand is the level limits on the other titles. Do you need to be higher then their specified level or what? The quest for Cursed Swordsman, unless your buying the sword itself, isn't even available until level 78 I believe.
And the Blessed title, the cutoff is level 90? You need the damn Knight's Holy Water from the Lady Knight quest (95+) to get the required item in the first place. Neither of which are tradable, so how does that make sense?
Just a thought there anyway. Perhaps it is just a case these level limits have finally been introduced so are now unavailable unless you exceed the listed levels?
I think the April one was in reference to either Collectomaniac or Brave Chief (or heck, both). There's a good chance they've added in level limits for everything now, but I don't see how we can check it easily. I don't have time to level an alt right now! :P
Yes, i believe it was in that latest huge patch they did, they added minimum level reuquirements for the titles. used to be all title were level 1 not they have changed them to various higher levels. A lot of the title are not 96+. I cant access the AO website but if you look on there on the patch notes it lists all the title with level requirements and im assuming that they changed it for the collectormaniac title as well.

I am lvl 92 and remember seeing the collectomatic title around 85 or so. I guess they went back and changed the lvl requirement, I will check back every once in a while. I can pick up the Brave Chief title so I guess they must have been referring to the collectomatic for the 96+ Thalia title.
Therian, I believe the lvl limits are minimum lvls. So for the Blessed title you must be 90+ to start it.

Is there something we could so ppl can share like tips on easier ways to get titles? Like, I know how to get the Smelling Flowery title easier: Do Chardin's quests until you get to where he says "Use Chardin's Perfume". He will give you the perfume to use. You then cancel the quest, and accept it again, he will give you another perfume. You can do this until you have 5. I dunno if there are things like this for other quests, just an idea :)

What is the best way of getting them, other than the blasted Historia seals which you have to get lucky to get it out of a golden box?
You can get them (rarely) out of the Omikuji Divination Box, which, besides being a quest reward for the Cursed Sword quest, also drops (sometimes) from Loki. As far as I know, those two boxes are the only place to get them, hence why they're so damn expensive.

You change your title and then the buff activates. You can activate Titles in battle. If the buff timer isn't finished, and you change the title, then you lose that title's buff while gaining your new Title's buff. A buff only activates once a day and the titles reset every day at 6:30 AM PST.
what about if you log out with a certain title already on. then the next day you log back on, does the buff start automatically?
It doesn't, you'll have it on, but no buff, nor will it be counted as used.
THIS MEANS DO NOT MAKE TWO +9 ITEMS AND THEN ENCHANT THEM TOGETHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
