The site is terrific. :) Is there anyway to pm a person? I have a few things I wanted to ask you about/point out and wasn't sure if pming was possible. :) But your site is very, very well put together - the monster editor is really nicely done especially.

At now pm isn't possible, but you can use the "Contact" form in each User's Profile if the person has allowed it (personnally I also use MSN with people who wants).

Sure it will be added in the future, I'm also planning "terrific" features for community and guilds, fully integrated with the full site, and didn't want to use paying software as other fansites do (it's incredible to see the number of VBulletin's forums when you know its license cost).
The site is public (beta) for 3 days only, and features will come little by little :)

Regarding the monster editor, someone suggested a very clever idea to make it lighter and more user-friendly. But it requires time/coding and I'm going to do it in the next days.

Hello. :) First, thanks for putting together this site. I remember when I played CBT, I always wondered if there would ever be an online database for Atlantica. I stopped playing for a while, but I've started playing again recently. I'm sure you've already received offers for editing your English, but if you could use anybody else, I'd truly love to, as I used to edit for various projects in the past. I really love the grammatical side of English, so it would be no problem at all for me. Also, while I have less than 20% on monster info, I do have some that have yet to be added to the database. I think that's about all I have to offer... Oh, what did you want translated? I'd like to see what it is that I would be translating before attempting it, that way I know if I'm capable of the translation you want or not.

By the way, even if the number of contributors is increasing, there is still so much to do that any additionnal help is welcome :) Moreover, I like collaborative work and it's motivating for everyone to see people interested by their work and joining.

I gave you the right to edit all articles (news, guides, pages in About section etc), so you can correct as much as you want.
While clicking on the title, you'll get some extra buttons at top : Edit and Translate. Use edit to make your corrections.

Regarding translations, do you mean you can read French ? If so, just read the articles I mentionned before, you'll have buttons at the bottom to see the French (and Spanish now) version when available.

Quality is an important word for me, and I know I'm not able to give it in my English writings :(

Thanks for allowing me to help the site out. I've already edited the news posts, but don't be surprised if I edit some of my edits. ^^; I will try to look at other pages later this week, and, of course, I'll edit any future news posts. As for translation, I was going to offer some Spanish translations, but I already see that the site has somebody much more qualified doing those.

Also, you might have missed it before, but I have some monster info that has yet to be added, and I don't think you gave me any permission levels for that. If you did, sorry, I must have missed how to do it. It's something that would be a lot quicker than editing a whole guide, so I could do it while I'm healing or auto-moving in game.

I saw you made some great editions, you even added the acronym of AKA in the Guide of Mains (intro), crazy !
The style is much more fluent, the same with Kiena who edited the About AOP page.

Regarding the Monster Editor, I forgot to tell why I didn't gave you the right for now, I'm sorry about that. Please look at the other thread I'm writing, it should answer your other questions :)

Great site, seems to try to keep up to date especially news within nDoors.

I like to help out with monster info, maybe more in item info.

Also noticed that you trying to do Crafting Calculator. Not sure what exactly you looking for but I have all 3 formulas. Action > workload, Workload > exp, Workload/action > duration of craft. Not many know the formula despite that it is easy to find or figuring it out.

Love the site - especially the real lives bit for the NPC's - as an addition Lewis the white rabbit should be a reference to Lewis Carroll who wrote Alice in Wonderland

Also the way everything links so that you can not only see how to craft something, but what needs it for crafting and what drops it in one place. That explains very clearly why the market moves as it does - e.g. price crashes for Hyssop as it drops frequently from boxes but is not used in major crafting.

Some people ask us an AOP banner. I don't intend to propose it now, but you could work on it if you agree. I have to define the specs (dimension etc) before, so I will contact you later :)

I looked at your works, didn't like the first, liked the second (Sci-fi style) and the third. I think the third one, with pastel colors (not vivid), would be in accordance with the AOP's style.

Regarding forums, there are two main reasons:

1. Forums are not really active until now, so it wouldn't nice to have many empty ones

2. The Community section (including forums) will be much more developped in the future (not so far now), and will be the last (but not the least ;) step before the final release of AOP.

I think it'll be a great idea if we could shows where the portals are located on the maps and where it leads to. Also, some boss monsters don't have location information listed because the monster info guide doesn't list it. If we can find where they are and list it I think it'll help out people a lot. For example: Flame Ruler Loki doesn't have a location info listed but he's located in Snowstorm's Resting Place. I would like to help out with this whenever I have free time, though that's probably whenever I have vacation. Hope to hear form you soon :D

Sorry about the delay, but I'm looking at the contributions inside the staff.

Indeed, for instance, there already are 3 Polish translators but they translated... 5 pages at total.

It's common with amateur/fansite project as AOP (many drop in a short time). The real problem is they (almost) never say when they stop, so I have to contact them and so on.
That's why I'll answer you when I know who is active among Polish translators.

Been reading through the Staff Handbook already and after comparing my Monster Infos to the oness we have on the site wondered if I could get access to the Monster Editor?

At 77.8% info at the moment, and raising And can throw a few new monsters into the mix - Ms. Pigling (Lv127 Boss), Lamp Ghost (Lv125 Monster), Ghost Triplets (Lv126 Monster), Ghost Triplets Warrior (Lv126 Monster) just to name a few.

Working on trying to gather Location and Item information for Giant Beast of Madness too, Lv128 Boss, and item information for Gold Collecting Ghost (Lv127 Monster)

I have noticed some little errors like typos and such in some quests. Ex. In witch quest for the 30 dark souls on Shadow Jail 1F it says Mission:Dark soul and it should be 30. I would like to help correct and fix some of these little errors ;D. Thank you.

I think that this site which I love and use a lot, and useful as it is could be more.

I think that a few things could make it more useful and easier to use.

• Making a hypelinks on maps, where the path ways to other parts of the dungeon would be show on the maps and you can click them to go to that part of the dungeon page.
• Pages for whole dungeons, would show all of the maps of a dungeon's selctions, all of the monster in it, and all the items you can get from a dungeon.
• Filters for skills, who can use them

This suggestion has been made several times, but without the coordinates (maps and their portals) I can't do it. My access to Atlantica's dungeons is too limited to put them together by myself.

I did a few tests in the past about it, but didn't find a good way to display all these information. If we just show a list of items, it's pretty useless (according to me) ; and if we show complete info it becomes scrappy. I don't say it's impossible, just I wasn't able to code a satisfying formatting.

The skills page already contains a Used by... line, and specific mercenary pages (ex: Swordman) also displays the skills they can use. What else?

Mhmm i don't know we can find some monster like Angry Acong (lvl 71) on AOP. Moreover these event monster are still in the Monster info book, you can't reach the hypothetic 100% without them (they will probably be used next christmas).

Fallen Seraph and Gold Collecting Ghost Info added

thedeath is right: my policy was to ignore event monsters for (mainly) two reasons:

• The most important one: it's confusing for casuals/beginners, especially if they appear in loot tables.
• When I first added event monsters, I also added related fields (Santa village etc). When these fields have been deleted by Ndoors, I also had to deleted them and it wasn't an easy work to do it cleanly.
• I thought they would be deleted by Ndoors (as the fields)
• I intend(ed) to make a dedicated page for current events, with description of their quests, monsters and items.

But people would like to see these monsters on AOP, and I can understand why (even if I don't share your motivations myself).
So I proposed a way to do it to contributors, who really do a great work here. Congratulations and thanks to them!

@LynAtlantica: thank you for your message, and for your Guide (which seems very good!). I'm going to publish it very soon, I'm sure many players will appreciate your study (Arena betting is a common help/tips request :)

I have had a bunch of independent mercenaries for a while now, and have dutifully noted everything they ever requested or sent me. I'm guessing some people might be interested in that information, or perhaps general independent mercenary knowledge... Is there any place I could post this?

I need to see them (and to understand how it works) so as to think about the best way to integrate them on AOP.
I just know that the rewards are better with higher mights, and that the asked items depend on the mercenary class (ex: Gunner may ask gunpowder, Melee don't), even if they mainly are potions.

i have an independent spear man who is always asking for weak gunpowder. So that theory doesn't hold water. i guess its kinda random. but i dunno i just play the game lol

On Sikyon a user by the name of "Kouma" has a request from one of their independent mercenaries asking for a Pirates Signal Shot ...

the list of item is random :)

What i know is that if your ind says he is fighting an important monster the reward will be better.

Regarding English to French translations, I think it's ok as I translated myself most of articles, except the ones that are often updated.

Wings of light = Wings of Darkness with a different color, or am I wrong? (same as Mercury/Dark Mercury Rider)

No, the Wings of Light actually have different stats and they are:

attack power 300-400
vit +50
defense 500
